Dialhouse designs NHS care home scheme

Dialhouse have just completed the graphics for an NHS pilot scheme designed to support nursing homes across South Staffordshire. The Nursing Homes Support scheme was launched by South Staffordshire Primary Care Trust in April 2011. It will provide specialist support to nursing homes in the region in a bid to improve elderly care and cut unnecessary hospital admissions.

If the scheme is a success, there are plans for it to be rolled out nationally. The pilot will include 18 specially trained staff who will offer their expertise to care homes in the region in areas such as End of Life Care, Infection Control, Wound Care, Continence and Nutrition.  The service also includes an extensive data-base of clinical information that healthcare professionals can access via the website at www.nhsnhs.co.uk.

As part of their branding strategy, Dialhouse was in charge of creating a visual identity for the scheme that was both professional and imaginative. This included creating the logo, the slogan and a website with a CMS format which can be regularly updated by the staff. Dialhouse also produced promotional materials such as leaflets, posters, stickers, and stationery to help advertise the service aimed at enlisting the cooperation of the nursing homes in the area.

Julie Hughes, Project Manager of the Nursing Homes Support scheme said: “Dialhouse understood exactly what we wanted for the scheme. They responded quickly and creatively to our needs and worked professionally to provide a uniquely tailored package. We are very happy with the results.”

Being the 'cobbler's children' and putting our customers first has led to one delay after another. So today we are proud to officially launch the all new www.dialhouse.co.uk!

Birmingham and Solihull's new Chlamydia website developed by Dialhouse, www.besure.org.uk, has gone live. The site gives young people all the facts they need to know about the disease and allows them to order test kits on-line, or directs them to their local test centre.

A further development will see professionals able to access a wider database of information, and to replenish their own stocks of kits and other marketing materials on-line.
